PMBus™ and SMIF Legal Notices Privacy policyThe System Management Interface Forum (SMIF), Inc. is committed to respecting your privacy. SMIF web sites contain links to other web sites. SMIF is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites. SMIF web sites may collect user information using web forms and automatic server usage logs. SMIF may keep this information indefinitely, and may share this information as appropriate with SMIF officers, members, and agents. SMIF will take all reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of identifiable user information. SMIF will not share such information with anyone outside SMIF, except as necessary to cooperate with law enforcement. SMIF may request basic contact information in web forms to accommodate a user’s request for specifications or other useful material from SMIF. Providing this information is strictly voluntary, but may be required to obtain the material. By providing contact information on a web form, a user grants SMIF permission (as expressly stated on the form) to contact the user occasionally. The user can withdraw this permission at any time; a withdrawal notice should be sent to webmaster@SMIForum.org, and must specify the user’s email address being withdrawn.
